Tom and Huck teach us how to be friends; Tom and Becky – how to love; the Author – how to create; Aunt Polly – how to obey and how to behave outrageously. Every lesson is necessary and valuable and every scene is amusing and fascinating. The audience laughs as if on cue. This is a production about the excitement of discovering how interesting the world is around you, discovering that sometimes you have to make mistakes, and discovering how fun and easy it is to spring back to your feet if you have fallen down.
